Okay, then we see eye to eye with this notion concerning Indis' name, that is good. Hey Indis, What do you think about Artanaro's results?
Again, concerning my quote below, I agree that it seems to flow better, but wouldn't 'lindesui mi Anor' mean 'this song within Anor'? I want it to say 'blessings within this song of Anor' so I thought it would make more sense for 'mi' to be carried by 'herenya' instead of 'lindesui'. I will try to think on it more. But how about 'Hiruvalye herenyassen lindesui Anor'? Or 'herenya lindesuissen Anor'? I found the suffix '-sse' to be used as a locative piece concerning in or on. What do you think about this?
Hantale elyenna(n), melin nineva. ([much]Thanks for you, friend of mine.)

wouldnt this song be Lindesina not lindesui....I thought sui was Sindarin... Hiruvalye herenyassen lindesina Anor blessings within this song of Anor I have not come across sui being Quenya...If you have please show me.. Anar is Anor in Quenya, also in compound words such as song of Anar, the word order is :describing element comes before the main element thus making song of the Sun : Anarlinde literally sun-song to make it This sun-song we put on sina at the end since sina is "This" in Quenya. so it would be : Hiruvalye herenyassen Anarlinde sina THIS sina (following its noun in our one attested example: vanda sina, "this oath"). I am still re-learning the language, so I am not correcting you really, I have just put up another alternate translation that may or may not work better. What do you think? Hantale Artanaro

Also i last night this may sound strange but as you know I have a huge connection for to felines then my wolf kind. But last night I had a weird dream. I had it a while back as well. I was in a wolf pack the strange thing is, I was a black panther. A wolf later said he saw me but it was no dream... Then After that i had another dream. I was in a forest simmilar to Lothlorien and in an outside like temple it was simmilar acualy to the Tree like palace of Galadriel. Me and other Elves stood there discussing something (this might have been Valinor but in the Future basicly Dagor Dagorath) Then all of a sudden the ground shook we were startled some Elves tried to flee on horse back. Then as the ground shook more Some of us including me looked at the sky, A bright light shone through and the sky looked like as if glass was shattering. Then all went black. Another happened during the first time I communed with bast (Luna Varda possibly all of the Moon) I asked her to help me find my true self and all of a sudden this huge energy burst flowed through. I then saw that same forest and a bright pair of yellow eyes feline eyes. I saw the wolf pack again. Then the Moon.

That is an interesting dream....I also had dealings with a black panther last night, though it was not during a dream. I was setting up a ward using the square method shielding myself within the magnetism of Laurelin and Telperion, after this I waited for the guardian to appear, and it was a black panther who protected me during my meditation. Coincidence? I dont think so...We both encountered this energy last night....

Hmmm.. I have not found the source as of yet for my discovery of '-sui'. Neither can I remember it now, but I will have to get back to this later. I once again have to leave for work and time is short. *sigh* I will not be back until late so I cannot speak with anyone today.

the word "sui" means "as" in Sindarin.... according to one wordlist and is also the plural of saw = juice according to the hisweloke....
this in Sindarin is "sen" if that was your intention.... But I think it best to keep it in Quenya dont you? some Sindarin elements creeped into your translation, though I do not know if you intended to do that ..

Wow, this has really got me confused concerning my quote. And no, I do not believe I got it from Sindarinwa, as I was looking only in the Nole Parma Lambeo Areldava. So nothing at least from the Hisweloke would have crept in, I know this for certain. Other than that, I do not know what to tell you concerning this matter. I cannot, for the life of me find my source for '-ui'. As it turns out, I used the 's' at the end of 'linde' to state that 'it sings'. Which does not altogether make sense within this quote as a whole. >< I have completley confused myself it seems. Aaaack! This is making my head hurt. It is so annoying when I do this. Thank you for bringing these things to my attention mellon. Give me a moment while I collect my sanity.

Okay. Let me think about this now. I need to think of what I had initially meant to say and then we can go from there. Okay. The quote 'Find you blessings within the song of Anor; this love of Eru' sounds like a good starting point. As it turns out, herenya is not even the correct term I should use for blessings. I believe that the correct term for bliss is 'almie' and blessings 'almier'. Okay let me go from here:
Find you blessings: Hiruvalye almier Find you blessings within the song: Hiruvalye almierissen i linde Find you blessings within the song of Anor: Hiruvalye almierissen i linde Anorwa ('wa' pertains to the possession of Anor) this love of Eru: melmesina Eruo ('o' pertains to Eru being the origin of this love)
So this brings me to this: 'Hiruvalye almierissen i linde Anorwa; melmesina Eruo.'
I think this makes more sense. Please tell me how you think this flows.

I think it is fine, except it would be Anarwa not Anorwa; Anor is Sindarin......If you sourced the name from Gandalf's utterance in Moria, you must understand that he was using the Sindarin lambe when he uttered those words, if he used Quenya he would have said ....wielder of the flame of Anar....
Other than that I think it is much better....

It sure is melin. Fun to translate stuff I mean. It is good that I had so much help with it as well, melin ninwa. (I got it correct this time! Not melin nineva. silly me.) The only thing that has me feeling strange about the quote now though is 'almierissen', but perhaps this is because I am just now being reintroduced to Quenya and that our Anglo Saxon piece of wank has screwed me up in this life. (sorry if my use of terminology sounds bad. I just do not like this language.)
Hey, Indis. How do you feel about the name Artanaro and I discussed for you now? Does it feel right to you? Did you say already? If you did then that just goes to prove my horrible memory to be true, for I only read the posts yesterday. ^_^ Anyways, tell us about it melin.
