Well I was reaqding a Tolkien site this morning about the Elves as usual *smiles* yesterday me and I'll just say Gil-Galad (his name is hard to pronounce other wize) were discussing paths and all. i was wondering why I have a Fire exactly like Feanor or his sons. (you know who I am basicly Indis) anyway I was confused until today i was on an old site and read of the Noldor and Vanyar since I am vanyarian. At the end it said "Tolkien later states that few Vanyar did infact go into Exile with the Noldor" It explains the ship I was taken on out of Valinor. why when an Elf infant why i was on the ship in the first place. Why I have a Noldorian Fire if you will. I just wanted to share my findings.

lol same reply on the other forum. But you also did make sence maybe Tolkien had no idea about my Vanyarian parents. It seems my own father was Noldorian but then how would the Half Noldor decend from me other wize? I am a vanyar still bound to Finwe I think anyway sometimes I still feel it. but it still does make more sence.

ok, If I remember correctly Indis was conceived in Middle Earth then was born in Valinor right ? If this is correct keep in mind that the Noldor became the Noldor in Valinor. In Middle Earth we were a tribe that Tolkien called the Tatyar. Your father most likely was a member of that tribe, so that is why it is said that you were the one who started the half Noldor half Vanyar lineage, because it could only start in Valinor when the Noldor and Vanyar became known as the Noldor and Vanyar. Of course when you split a tribe into to two different geographical locations, they start to differ in customs and ways of living, especially when living under Valarin influence. Hopefully this resolves your confusion.
