My Lord, you are great This road's gone astray Yet a miracle surviving Through the mist and the gray. The stars, how they twinkle And shine of your bliss Shall ever stay shining When one's deeds go amiss. The ring of much sufferage (May) lay heavy on souls Yet your love and your glory May this child ever hold.

Yes I did. It came to me quite out of the blue, actually. That is how I usually write my poetry. I have written others, but those two, I thought, seemed most fitting to this group. And I am glad you like it. ^_^ I do too.

Well, I have forced others so that I could get it done because I needed it to get done, but usually I do better if it comes on its own. I have written a couple for some characters from the anime Inuyasha, mostly one in particular, and I think those came of their own accord and they seemed to turn out well. The forced either seem to start lame or they are hard to finish because forced they are incomplete.

.. And it truly is, poetry, something that comes from your emotions. From me it comes from deep within and that is why I have to let it surface. Sometimes, though, I just get an itch to write something, and at those times, I never know what until my pen hits the paper. I will probably be posting a couple of others I have written if they appear fitting to this forum. We will see. Otherwise, until our next meeting...
